A new resource to support theatres and touring companies develop new audiences for drama.
For the last few years, we have heard from and spoken to many organisations across the UK about the challenges of finding and attracting new audiences for drama.
Commissioned by the National Theatre, in collaboration with Theatre Nation Partnerships and primarily led by Curve Theatre, Indigo carried out sector-wide research to understand the motivators and opportunities to grow drama audiences. As a result, we created the Developing Drama Audiences Toolkit, a range of insight, ideas and case studies to support the sector to build audiences nationally for drama.
Aimed at programmers and marketers, the toolkit offers ideas and inspirations, case studies, templates and checklists, backed up by Indigo's research conducted with audiences from across England.
Join us for our webinar on 3 February where Indigo Associate Director, Kerry Radden, will be talking through the research that informed this toolkit, along with insights from National Theatre’s Head of National Partnerships Kiri Grant and Curve Theatre's Executive Director Claire Grant, about how Theatre Nation Partnerships have been working together to grow drama audiences.
