Arts and Culture in a Changing Political Landscape: What does Britain think?
Understanding the role of arts and culture in the lives of people living in Britain‘s changing political climate.

Our current Indigo Share: Hot Topic is in partnership with research agency More in Common.
Following recent elections across Britain, which produced a fragmented political picture that the sector cannot afford to ignore, this Hot Topic is the first step in a longer-term partnership.
Drawing on our own UK-wide Audience Panel of 20,000 arts and cultural attenders, plus More in Common’s nationally representative polling of the general population, together we will run the same survey that will:
- Compare the views of arts audiences and the general population
- Ask about their views of arts and culture, along with values and outlook on aspects such as personal responsibility, feelings about how the country is run and attitudes of British identity
- Provide a picture of how arts and cultural audiences are distributed across More in Common’s Seven Segments of Britain
