Helping nine North East arts venues nurture audiences for new work

project overview

Place-based cultural engagement / Supporting place-based partnerships

REACH Consortium

The REACH project brought together nine small venues across North East England, who all wanted to develop their audiences for contemporary work.

Indigo worked with each of the nine venues to pinpoint their key priorities, understand their existing audiences, identify potential audiences for development, and test out approaches for engaging them.

We provided training and networking across the nine venues, and helped devise appropriate approaches and campaigns throughout the project.

… the advice and training provided by REACH has been invaluable.

A fantastic project, very proud to be a part of it and looking forward to a lasting legacy at our venue.

Stuart Potts, Seaton Delaval Arts Centre

I think overall [the training] has really boosted my confidence; to know that we are able to run effective targeted marketing campaigns and see the results is great.
