When we ran the first Act Green survey in 2022, 77% of audiences told us that cultural organisations have a responsibility to influence society to make radical change to address the climate emergency. The findings were used by organisations across the UK to influence their sustainability strategies, and incorporated into the Theatre Green Book.
Act Green 2023 aims to build on this, and looks at how audience and visitor attitudes towards the climate crisis and the role of cultural organisations in tackling it are changing.
